About Me
Welcome to Second Grade!
I have been teaching since 2002, when I earned my Bachelor's Degree at New Mexico State University. Since then, I have earned my Master's Degree at Western State Colorado University as well as certification through the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. I have taught in New Mexico, California, and Georgia, before finding my home in the mountains of Colorado where I love to spend time outdoors in nature with my family.
I have three sons and a daughter. I am a cat lover, an enjoyer of great books, and an avid runner. I love exploring new places and learning about their unique histories and flavors. If I'm not in the classroom, I prefer to be outside. My favorite activities include hiking, camping, trail running, stand-up paddle boarding, and skiing. I love being in the sunshine but will never turn down an opportunity to play in the rain.

I love the New England Patriots and make it a personal mission of mine to ensure all of my students leave my classroom at the end of the year cheering for the Patriots as well.

I am honored to have the opportunity to teach your child. I cherish the time I get to spend with my students and treasure the relationships we build together. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please don't be afraid to reach out to me.

Cheers!
